PROJECT VISION
The team at Diptyque set out to refresh the interiors of their flagship stores worldwide, aiming to recreate iconic pencil drawings by a renowned French artist on their walls.
During our initial call, they emphasized the importance of preserving the hand-drawn, pencil-like aesthetic in every detail of the artwork.
CREATIVE APPROACH
To honor Diptyque’s vision, I meticulously recreated the iconic pencil drawings entirely by hand, ensuring every line retained the delicate, organic quality of the original artwork. Each stroke was carefully drawn and painted directly onto the walls to preserve the authenticity of the hand-rendered aesthetic.
Maintaining the integrity of the pencil-like texture was essential, so I worked with subtle shading techniques and precise detailing to replicate the depth and softness of the original sketches. Every element was thoughtfully scaled and positioned to seamlessly integrate with the store’s architecture, bringing the brand’s artistic heritage to life within each flagship location.
