PROJECT VISION
Anthony Rimicci approached me to hand-paint lettering on his 1967 Alfa Romeo GTV, a car with a rich racing history. The goal? To faithfully recreate the original lettering from 1972, when the car was driven by Dave Burns as a racing legend. This project was about more than just aesthetics—it was about preserving the car’s story and legacy.
CREATIVE APPROACH
Recreating historical lettering requires both precision and a deep appreciation for vintage design. This project was a dream come true, as I carefully studied old photographs to ensure accuracy and authenticity. Every stroke of paint was done by hand, with meticulous attention to detail to capture the spirit of the era.
The result was a stunning homage to the car’s racing past—a labor of love and craftsmanship that brought the 1967 Alfa Romeo GTV back to its 1972 glory. This was truly one of those “pinch-me” moments where history and art collided.
